Technical Photographer (12-Month FTC)

Salary: Up to £32,000

Location: Dorking

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday–Friday (8:30am–5:00pm)

Role Purpose

To capture high-quality, accurate images using professional photographic equipment and techniques, ensuring precise visual representation of products. The role also includes image editing, organisation, and maintenance of photographic archives.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality technical images using professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and specialist equipment.
• Ensure accurate representation of product details, dimensions, and technical features.
• Set up lighting, backgrounds, and equipment to meet technical and aesthetic requirements.
• Edit, retouch, and enhance images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
• Ensure colour accuracy, correct exposure, and consistent image quality.
• Crop, resize, and adjust images for various platforms and formats.
• Organise, archive, and maintain photographic files and digital assets.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with professional cameras, lenses, lighting setups, and studio equipment.
• Strong knowledge of photographic principles, including composition, exposure, and colour theory.
• Advanced skills in image editing software, particularly Adobe Photoshop.
